A loop handle with two red poppies sets off this piece handbuilt with red earthenware and finished with the majolica process. The bottom is unglazed smooth clay. Safe for food, dishwasher, and oven. Approx. 8"L x 5"W x 3.5"H.
Poppies Butter Dish
This majolica is lead-free and safe for food, oven and dishwasher. The microwave is not recommended. All pottery is vulnerable to uneven or rapid heat changes.
These precautions should be followed:
Do not put cold liquid into hot vessels or cold vessels into a hot oven. If cooking a cool, dense food, such as meat, surround it with some liquid. Do not place pots directly over a flame or heat element or under a broiler. These instructions are included with each piece.
